Puri has always been the comfort place for me. The temple, beaches and the vibe in general is super welcoming. It's a pretty and peaceful place. And I feel it's the same for most odias.

But when I look at other beach towns (and temple towns), I feel puri is still behind. We need to have more coming of age cafes, homestays and better facilities to improve the beach area. I'm not comparing in a bad way, but jadi udupi, pondicherry (not sure if it's a fair example) , Varkala, e sabu towns dekhibe, semane bahut bhala advantage neichanti seashore au beach ra.

I understand puri is the place our beloved lord, but there's so so much potential. Aji Niladri Beach re basiki bhabili, jadi puri beach hotel re spam na heithanta kete sundar heithanta? Au ama govt especially sunya marketing beach ku neiki, whereas Karnataka govt super aggressive promotion tanka beach sabu lagi. We need to get ahead.

I just finished piranesi. Picked up reading after 3 years and man it got me out of a rot fr. The greatest feat of the writing is the house is completely left to the reader's imagination. It keeps you forming these images of all the scenes and the ending is written well. I'm definitely going to pickup few more works of Susana Clarke next.

Flowers for algernon is my next. I read few articles on it but going completely dark. Hoping for a nice read.
