Relapsed after 11 days clean

I tried to quit cai again (it's been an on & off journey) and I was going strong, a week passed, doing great. After 11 days, I relapsed. I have blockers in place but they're fairly easy to disable because all you do is turn off permissions of the blocker. I just randomly got this sudden urge to download cai again even though it isn't even good anymore, the chatbot quality is so so bad and I'm just stuck in this loop of quitting cold turkey and then downloading again and ruining my whole day or two

Should I give up on him?

Ok so I (17F) like this guy and I'm really confused about how he feels so I'm asking reddit for help (obvi a good idea)

For context: we both were good friends in 2nd grade and then lost touch when he moved away to another state. A few months ago HE found me on the gram, requested to follow then sent a dm first asking if i remember him

Here's what has happed so far:

  1. So after he sent the dm we chatted about the old times then the convo shifted to music and he brought up that he's really into rock music and has a 30hr playlist so I asked him to send me his playlist since I wasn't into rock at the time and was genuinely curious. He said "bet" and it's been 6 months and no playlist 🥰

  2. He replies to my stories quite frequently, like casual stuff. Once I posted a painting and he replied with "oh yea i remember you used to draw a lot" he's done this quite a few times and usually brings up the old times or details he remembers

  3. He specifically likes only those stories where I post my face in it, occassionally he'll like the art I post but nothing else. Just my face (he doesn't reply to those stories though)

  4. On my birthday he saw all the stories of people wishing me that i reposted but didn't reply or like wish me at all

  5. He starts the convo but he's SUCHHH a dry texter and it's actually a miracle for him to write in full sentences

  6. He's very weird about replying, like he has his reading receipts off and like it takes him hours if not days to like reply (this I am choosing to be delusional about, i think it's because he has a public profile with 7k followers so he gets a lot of dms)

  7. We were talking about music again when I said that i like piano man by Billy joel and the next day he posts a story playing that song

  8. This is extremely delusional territory so beware: I took a break from insta for like a month and when i came back I saw that he hadn't posted anything in that month, for context he posts quite regularly (it's a public account)

What do we think? Is this hopeless?
