Free AMC2 resources

I recently passed my AMC 1 and PTE, but job situation is kinda uncertain for AMC CAT only, and I am not ready for the huge financial and personal commitment that AMC2 is. I am already doing a training job in my home country, so the plan is to keep preparing slowly for my AMC2 while applying offshore jobs and continuing my training. Where can I get AMC2 resources for free?
I can’t get those expensive course subscriptions or workshops right now

AMC CAT

I passed, Alhmdulillah!
It was all by Allah Almighty’s grace that I was able to do it.

Time: 5 months of active studying
A few months of research and getting the EPIC, ECFMG etc before the actual prep
Resources:
JM and Handbook: outdated. Started with them, but they were not very helpful tbvh. After finishing my whole prep, I did the handbook MCQs quickly and was able to solve them very easily, like just skimmed through it once and that’s all. Got one SCC picture exactly from the handbook.
Emedici: my main source.
Recalls: I did past three month recalls and revised the last month ones before exam week, and then did exam week recalls.

Preparation:
I purchased a bridging course and that was not helpful at all, & was a total waste of money for me. The same course was helpful for some people but not me, as I was doing full time training job with a toddler, and barely had the time to take long lectures. I’d get pockets of time wherever I could, during hospital hours, during commute, and did an average of 2-4 hrs daily.
In the first month, I acquainted myself with the exam pattern, joined telegram groups, saw YouTube videos and Instagram posts and got my materials sorted.
Main source was emedici: I did around 4500 questions with a cumulative score of 74%
The strategy was simple: search for topics system wise, solve all the questions and read explanations carefully, and make my own digital notes. I’d copy paste stuff in my notes app and gave a prompt to Claude to make me notes. Best decision ever!
Did major chunk of Qbank in three months. Then started revision and recalls.
For revision: I’d open my notes, and solve all my incorrect questions from emedici while reviewing notes, specially of topics that I found difficult.
For recalls: I had a study group with three other girls. We would solve questions and discuss the details, we used AMC Success files for that.

Last month: Minimised my hospital hours, replaced my shifts as I couldn’t get an off. Studied for 4-8hrs a day, reviewed all the topics that had not been covered in the previous notes. Important topics from therapeutic guidelines and RACGP, RCH and RANZCOG. Supplemented with the previous core concepts.

Last fortnight: Did 6 mocks with a score of 60-65%. I made a lot of silly hurried mistakes in them because I was trying to finish off the whole paper in 2-2.5 hrs. Did 2025 an 2026 mocks, Ed 1 and 2 questions, reviewed their topics. Did two more mocks in a laid back fashion and scored 82% and 88% in them.

Before exam week: Read high yield files, revised my notes, reviewed wrong questions of my mocks. Revised vaccinations, screening, school exclusion criteria, memorised formulae and revised emedici important pictures.

Last day before exam week: Despite all the hard work, I was VERY anxious, and felt as if I don’t know anything at all. Stepped back and relaxed a bit. Got my things sorted, passport, ID card and placement letter.

Exam week: Took recall classes with my study partners. Our exam was in my city, so my study partners stayed at my place. Exam was on Wednesday evening, so we did 2.5 days of sheer hard work and prayers. Monday and Tuesday we studied all day long: for 13 hrs on Monday and 18 hrs on Tuesday and discussed recalls all day long. On Wednesday, we woke up at 8am, studied till 3pm and went for our exam.

Exam day: I had expected lots of nervousness, but Alhmdulillah there wasn’t much. I felt fine and kinda prepared. Real exam looked easier than emedici. Shorter stems and most of the paper was doable, some 10-15 questions were very difficult, rest was fine. Time is ample, I did the exam very easily and slowly, still finished 15 mins earlier. That’s All. Thankfully all four of us girls passed, Alhmdulillah.

AMC CAT on Wednesday

I have my exam in coming exam week on a Wednesday. People say that you don’t get enough recalls on Monday and maybe a few on Tuesday. I wanna know how can I maximise the situation?
Can’t delay the exam
