Meet my nug, Toni! Named after the legendary Tony

Hopefully this is allowed but this is my 2017 mini nugget that costed me 8.4k CAD and ive had her for two weeks. Despite getting a pre-purchase inspection and it passing it seems like ive inherited its garbage time Tony abuse from her previous owner!

From the deep grit chips and dents all over and the fact that the tires that were about to blow i can assume the guy raced it down gravel roads. Cosmetic issues were fine to me so i didn't mind...

...until she lit up her check engine light that just a week ago that says she runs very rich. From what? Even the Mini mechanic cant fully say aside the oil smells of fuel and no additional codes popped up on mine or his diagnostic scanner.

This is my first ever car that I've bought and this is my first time fully getting hands on fixing a car aside from oil and tire changes.

Is getting a cheap baby BMW possibly a questionable place to start learning how to tinker with cars? Possibly!

Am i now all familiar with the ins and outs of my engine bay that im comfortable with changing out the high pressure fuel pump and soon the valve cover? Yep!

Ive always loved cars and been a long time watcher of Garbage Time. Honestly even though James is a professional mechanic and Wade a professional nuggeteer, it's been very inspiring watching them work on cars and it makes me wanna do the same.

Tldr: The 2017 Mini Goober that I bought turned out to be a massive nugget and it's become my personal goal to get her to "an car" status.
