Theres a bunch of these tiny black dots on my Syngonium Milk Confettii, no idea what pest they might be. Also what treatments can I do to get rid of them?

Brought my first maranta a week ago, first thing I did was give the leaves a good rinse off however now there appears to be white build up on the edges of a few leaves, Im wondering if its some sort of pest? Not sure what to do about it.
