Are business names allowed? A wholesale company started by 2 friend need suggestion.
Im trying to choose a name for a new B2B wholesale supply company and would like some honest feedback.
The business will sell across different categories, not just one niche. For example hotel supplies, car wash towels, plumbing supplies, dental gloves, custom products, and other business goods. It’s a wide range of product, I know..
A little background on the name ideas: the company is built around two high school friend from different backgrounds. One is Chinese and understands overseas manufacturing, The other is American and understands the US customer side, So part of the story is two sides working together to supply business customers better.
Here are the 6 names I’m considering and the thought process behind each one:
Pacera Supply
This one comes from Pacific and era. The idea is a new era of business supply connected across the Pacific. It sounds smooth to me, but I’m not sure if it feels too made up.Uniera
This one comes from unified and era. The idea is a new era of unified supply, where customers can get many different business products through one company.UnionPac
This one means a union across the Pacific. It represents two partners from different sides working together. My concern is whether it sounds too close to Union Pacific.UniPace
This one means moving at one pace, or keeping production, communication, quality, and delivery in sync. It feels clean, but I’m not sure if it sounds more like a logistics or software company.UniWest
This one means unified supply for the Western or US business market. I like that it sounds simple, but I worry it may sound too regional or not meaningful enough.UniVia
This one comes from “unified” and “via.” The idea is one unified way to get business supplies, or many products through one trusted partner. I like the sound, but not sure if it is too abstract.
Which one would you choose?
I’m looking for honest feedback. If any of these sound fake, confusing, too close to another company, hard to remember, or not professional enough, please say so. I’d rather hear it now before I commit to one.
