The project begins.

Some of this reflects years of build-up (especially the nail polish section), including moves between climate regions (and therefore massive changes in my skin quality and tone), changes in style, experimenting to find my colors, and plenty of gifts. Some of it reflects dumb choices (please see the experimenting to find my colors, turns out I am not an autumn like I thought I was hahahahahahaha)

All of it is stuff I should use up or otherwise get out of my house!

This does not include some of my tried-and-true daily projects which I regularly use up:

* Daily moisturizer with SPF

* Daily niacinamide

* Shampoo, conditioner, or everyday hair serum

* Daily deodorant

* Daily mascara + brow gel + bb cream

*****

Hair: 1 trial conditioner, 1 trial shampoo, 2 trial serums

Deodorant: 1 travel deodorant, 1 gifted "natural" deodorant

SPF: 3 body SPF, 5 face SPF

Face: 1 travel cold cream, 1 toner trial, 1 lotion, 1 active

Bugs n burns: 2 insect repellants, 2 aloes (1 not pictured)

4 fancy soaps

Perfumes: 1 full size, 1 very old beloved B&BW I've been trying to find a dupe for forever, 2 minis, 7 testers + the Replica set

Lips: 13 lipsticks (+1 berry that I can't find right now), 4 chapsticks, 2 balms, 2 glosses

Lotions: 3 hand creams, 1 lip mask

Blush/highlighter: 2 highlighters, 2 blushes

Eyeshadows: 4 palettes, 5 cream eyeshadow sticks

Eyeliner: 1 liquid, 3 pencils, 2 gels

Extra face makeup: 1 glitter tube, 1 warm-toned eyebrow gel, 1 old cake mascara that tbh I am going to toss as I look at this photo

Nails: FUUUUCK! In my defense, some of these are my spouse's, but in my offense, only like four or five of them. Time for us to get to work! 4 base/top coats, 3 nail health products, 1 set of tip guides, and 29 fricking polishes

Rucking a toddler

I'm having an absolute blast rucking my toddler around the neighborhood. She's a long thin kid, so I'm only rucking 25-30 lbs between her, the backpack, and her water/snacks. It's great exercise, of course.

But the best parts? She loves it and it's SO much easier to get out the door than the stroller. She gets to see the world from up high, all while being very physically close to mama, and reach out to touch trees high up. She loves it enough that she'll bring the backpack over to me. And all I have to do is plonk her in the pack and put the pack on -- no wrestling the stroller in and out of the house (we have stairs), and no worries about whether our routes in the neighborhood have sidewalks with cutouts or anything like that.
