Stay away from POBOVi (bad/no real customer service)

Hey all,

Just swinging by to warn against buying a Pobovi ring.

I spent quite a bit of time researching rings for my partner because we didn't want to go all out on a $400 ring, or roll the dice on a $50 ring. Ended up spending $150 on a Pobovi after reading a lot of reviews and ring comparisons.

Apparently it was the wrong choice. The ring stopped charging after less than 2 weeks.

Mistake #2 was wanting to avoid ordering from Amazon. I ordered directly from the company (and they just sent it from Amazon anyway). If I had just ordered from Amazon, I could have just set a return through them, but to return a ring through Pobovi, you have to email them.

So I did. 11 days later, I got a response asking the issue with the ring. I said in my original email that it wasn't charging, so I told them again, replying the same day. Another 13 days go by with no response. I emailed again to get the ball rolling on a return/refund. That was 17 days ago, and I have not received a response, and it is now past their 30 day return policy.

I doubt I'll see that $150 again, so that sucks. If you're considering this brand, proceed with caution. If you do want to roll the dice on getting a ring that works longer than 2 weeks, order from Amazon where the return policy is quick and easy.

(Sorry if I picked the wrong flair)

First gift?

There's always been crows around our neighborhood, but we started leaving out unsalted peanuts this spring. At first they'd just watch us and some time later, the peanuts would be gone. Then we'd hear them calling closer outside and we'd go out to leave some.

Today I heard them calling and told my partner who took some peanuts out. A crow was in our driveway but flew away so she left some where it was and it came right back as soon as she was inside.

We went out twice more to leave some out and they came back. After a couple times, I went out to move some from a hiding place and noticed a soggy wasp nest where they were eating that wasn't there before. I assume it is a gift? Lol

Pictures featuring the first crow to come back. Right behind it you'll see a gray lump. That's the wasp nest, closer in the 2nd pic. Third pic is a peasky squirrel coming to clean up after the crows left.
