Psyllium Husk - whole or powdered?

Aran Goyoaga wants you to use powder, while The Loopy Whisk insists that whole husks are ideal. Why do they differ here? What's your preference?

My first loaf of GF sourdough!

She's a bit dense, but for my first loaf and I am so pleased! For my second try, I'll use superfine flour, a real banneton, and will be more patient waiting for my starter to peak.

Recipe from Cannelle et Vanille Bakes Simple, and I got a jumpstart on a starter using NW Ferments GF sourdough starter culture. I was having a hard time getting things going my first time around due to a colder kitchen.
