hey all, I have two mature pomegranate trees, about 17 years old. they both did amazing for years, but something happened. 4 years ago was the last year I got any fruit, that year I probably got about 40lbs between the two and absolutely nothing since.

I have trimmed it aggressively for two years, I see a lot of new growth in early spring, I see A LOT of flowers but no fruit.

as far as pollinators I can say with confidence the last two years hasn't been a problem because our neighbor had a bee hive and the bees were buzzing away. other neighbors had avocado tree that did really well, the bees also loved the avocado.

so I am not sure if I am having a nutrient issue? Every year I spread 10-10-10 granulated fertilizer.

I have a real persistent work schedule that's usually about 68 hours a week, 7 days a week for at least 2-3 weeks a month. Basically I get 4-5 days off a month. on work days I wake up at 4am and I am good, flying through the day with no issues, no headaches.

95% of the time on my days off I wake up at 6am, usually go to bed at 10pm. but on my days off I wake up with a massive headache, almost ever ly single time. my off days start with 2 pain killers and a cup of coffee.

I am trying to understand, does my work schedule have anything to do with this? is my body just programmed at this point to where if I am not awake at 4am regardless of work I will be miserable? like this morning I woke up and aside from the headache my upper body felt like it had been hit by a train.

I exercise 4 days a week, get routine blood work (sometimes twice a year), not over weight.

any input is greatly appreciated
