We’re thinking of booking a 5-night anniversary trip to Kelowna/Vernon/Penticton next April and are struggling to find a good chubby option.

Château Okanagan looks nice but we obviously don’t need the 16-person residence, and the 2-person villas going for around $1k/night have a shared living space with the 3 other villa rooms. No thanks.

We’ve stayed at the Grand Okanagan and it was nothing special, felt like a regular hotel with a nice view.

Naramata Inn looks like an option. Budget is around $1k/night. Anything else we should have on our short list?

Looking for a 5-night chubby (around $1k/night) stay in Mexico for an anniversary trip.

We are not beach people, so staying at a nice beach hotel seems like we’d be paying extra for something we’re not using. We are pool people.

Also I have Celiac and don’t drink alcohol, so all-inclusives aren’t our vibe.

I’ve checked out Chablé Yucatán and it seems very promising. Are there any others we should have on our shortlist?

Looking for something like Ólafur Arnalds’s song Only the Winds but with a bit more EDM. Moody, instrumental with piano and strings and just enough bass beat to get the head nodding along.

All the “classical EDM” I’ve found like Apashe and Worakls are upbeat and frenetic, I don’t want this at all.
