I have been trying to book a slot for 3 weeks now.

First week I tried myself and all i could see were 1-2 consular slots released sometimes but they were gone in milliseconds. I was mostly looking at night as I have office in day time.

Then I hired an agent through which my office colleagues have booked a slot last year in August and they got appointment within a week.

I am following up with the agent and he is not able to book a slot for me even after 2 weeks. Me and my wife will be travelling so 2 slots are required. When I ask him he says that there is some issue with the portal and he is not able to submit the slots.

Now already three weeks have passed and I don't know if the agent will be able to book a slot or not. I am also looking at the alternatives and checkvisaslots looks like they are offering slot booking service for 12K per person. Are they good ? I have checked the reviews and see rebiews like got appointment in few days etc. Need help here as time is running out for me and I have to travel my August end by max.

I have change in plans and now my wife will also be travelling with me. I wanted to know if I can add her as a dependent in the same application. If not how can I add her as a dependent now in my application? I wanted this as we can then travel together for the visa interview otherwise we might get different dates.

The only options that I see is Close and start new application. if i do that will i loose the payment made and I need to pay again?

I am really confused on this one, please help

I am trying to book B1/B2 visa from India and I have been able to secure a VAC slot almost every time I try, but I am not able to see even a single consular slot in the 7-8 times that I have secured a VAC slot. After 45 minutes my VAC slot gets released automatically as I am not able to secure any consular slots. Am I doing something wrong to not see any consular slots or this is a general pattern?

All the VAC slots I have booked, I have booked between 12 to 4 AM IST.

Are consular slots not released at all, when so many VAC slots are released?

Any ideas here ? I am also thinking is something is not correct in my application that I don't see consular slots ?
