Sorted gallon bags of elm leaf litter for sale
Sustainably collected from a pesticide, herbicide, and fertilizer free area. The larger twigs, litter, rocks, other leaves etc hand sorted out, at least 99% leaves of the target species. shipping depends on how many gallon bags bought, dm and we can figure it out.
$5 - gently stuffed gallon bag of unsterilized elm leaf litter
+$2 more leaves but leaves may become a bit crunched up/ tattered
+$5 freezer/ oven sterilized (freezer sterilization may take a while)
I use this leaf litter for my isopods, millipedes, roaches, and snails. I reccomend it over most oaks sold for detritivores as it is generally a softer leaf and has more nutrients and less tannins. My isopods and millipedes do go through these leaves a lot faster than oak ime. These leaves are also generally reccomended to my knowledge for breeding pill millipedes (glomeris). I have not have my glomeris (pustulata) for long so i can not say for sure but they have been having babies on it and my flake soil substrate. As these are relatively dry and undecayed, i highly reccomend, if you are buying them for pillipedes, to soak them in water for a while to let them decompose a bit before feeding, i reccomend this for all detritivores if you are buying these leaves.
tentative id : Ulmus parvifolia
