After delaying gallbladder surgery for 10 years, Your Girly finally got it done yesterday

After delaying gallbladder surgery for almost 10 years, I finally got it done yesterday. I was diagnosed with an 18 mm stone back in 2016 and since it barely caused problems for years, I kept postponing surgery. Then December 2025 happened, around 20 days in hospital with the worst pain of my life, it genuinely felt like truck tyres were running over my right shoulder while someone stabbed my chest. Strong painkillers barely helped and after that I knew I couldn’t keep avoiding it. So yesterday I walked into OT around 4:30 PM, had surgery around 5 PM, woke up later with numb legs, shoulder pain, tubes attached everywhere, and absolutely no dignity left 😭 Today I’m sore, bloated, moving around slowly, celebrating every fart like an achievement, but honestly after years of fear and overthinking, I’m just glad I finally did it.

Oh and wait did I tell you it was 36 mm now 😭

Feel free to ask me anything, I am still on Hospital bed.

God bless you all, just go for it , don’t delay.
