I want to bring this theory back to the light and also give my take on it
I feel like it would be a huge missed opportunity if they don’t make Bruce the one who created a Gamma Spider that bit Peter especially with the mutation stuff.
Let me explain. Hulk is the result of a Gamma Accident and is a rage monster that comes out when Bruce becomes emotional. What if the spider that bit Peter was Gamma radiated and now that Peter is under tons of stress the Gamma begins to mutate him. This would make the spider a refined “Hulk Serum” (This theory would be better if Man Spider was in the movie but i would rather no Man Spider because then he just directly reflects the Hulk instead of the improvement in Bruce’s Gamma research)
