Is it normal to feel breathless during the day after using CPAP?

So I’m a fairly new user, been on CPAP for about six or seven weeks

And didn’t have any huge issues until last week where I started getting a breathless sensation during the day after taking Taking off my CPAP.

Like it literally started last week within minutes of taking my CPAP off and lasted for maybe 40 minutes or so before it went away. Also got it the next day, but it went away faster. Ever since then it just kinda comes and goes, it's really wierd, only thing that's kept me from really freaking out initially is that I have a fingertip O2 sensor that says my pulse/oxygen level levels are fine.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this, how long it lasted for them, and if I should be concerned at all! Cause even though it’s not seriously affecting me as far as I can tell (did a 5K on Sunday no problem). it’s been a week of this and I’m really starting to get a little nervous about how long this is gonna last or if I've got some kind of lung infection from the cpap or whatever. (my anxiety is not helping)

CPAP and Costo

So recently I've had to start CPAP therapy for mild sleep apnea, and it's been going ok (been on it almost 2 months).

Problem is the last 2 mornings I've woken up, and felt slightly breathless for a while after I take my mask off. I can also feel a little stiffness in my sternum and left side of my ribs even though I'm sleeping on my right side (can't sleep on left due to costo). I've been reading up on it and think it's Aerophagia.

BUT of course I know costo can make you feel breathless too so I was wondering if anyone else on here also uses CPAP and had experienced anything like this as well.

Started feeling slightly breathless in morning after using CPAP

So the past 2 days I've woken up in the mornings, and felt a wierd slightly breathless sensation that lasts at least a little while after taking off my CPAP. I've been using CPAP for about 1.5-2 months now and this is a new thing for me and a little concerning.

I've read it could be Aerophagia which I know CPAP can cause, but since I don't have any actual breathing issues and my pressure isn't very high (set to auto 4-20).

I wanted to know if this kind of sensation is normal and/or if anyone else has dealt with this, and what the best ways to make it go away are.

Is it possible to side sleep with an F30 mask?

So I’m still relatively new to CPAP, only been using it about a month or two. I have an F30i mask and I’m honestly 50/50 on it!

I like the fact the hose mount is at the top and out of the way, and I like the fact it’s not a full face mask. But I’m having a bit of trouble getting consistent comfort/use out of it. And I think it’s mainly because I’m a side sleeper.

Biggest issue I find is that since the air tubes go down the side of your face, I often end up compressing the tube on the side I I am laying on, and reduces the airflow which I can feel making it a little less comfortable to breathe.

And there have been a few times where this restriction has apparently triggered my CPAP machine to increase pressure which then makes it harder to exhale!

I’m constantly having adjustment slack leak issues with it as well. Mainly around my nose, where I will either get leaks blasting air in my eyes, as well as the bottom of the mask. If/when I end up opening my mouth too wide which will cause it to start leaking around the bottom!

So Some nights it fits ok while others I can’t seem to stop the leaks. My machine will often read that the fit for the night was good as much as it tells me I need to adjust!

At this point, I’m wondering if I should just give up and go to a full face mask like the F20 or something!

But I was curious if anybody else had had these issues with these F30 masks as well?

And more importantly if anybody had figured out the best way to deal with them.
