The problem with COERS
(I hope this doesn't get flagged as negative or hateful content, but this needs to be said.)
As a fan of CORTIS, I genuinely can't help but be so ashamed of a major part of this fandom.
Considering the fact that it hasn't even been a year since CORTIS debuted, having fans (and antis) that would go out of their way to sexualize, harass, and hate on them is definitely going to have such a huge impact to the members themselves and the future of the whole group. In the end, I wouldn't even be surprised or blame them if they turn out to not like us COERS.
- Sexualization
I've seen so many posts online making inappropriate comments about each member, them being mainly older women. And the fact that they would manage to catch any little detail such as a small part of their 'abs' showing and proceeding to spread it everywhere online is just sickening. However, it isn't only older fans, the younger or same-aged fans are kinda the same too. They excuse it by saying "But I'm a minor too!!", but it doesn't change the fact that you're sexualizing them. Not to mention, the fansigns, calls, and lives are what disgust me the most. They'd make requests that clearly make the members uncomfortable but for the sake of their own fantasy they don't even seem to care about the members' feelings — I'm sure even Martin (the so-called fan service final boss) hates them and he's only doing it for the money.
- Harassment
I really don't know what's wrong with these people, especially solo-stans. Just because your bias isn't getting the attention you want doesn't mean you have to drag the other members down. One being pretty recent: some asshole decided to threaten Keonho and hire a car to run him over just because he made a small joke with Seonghyeon that was clearly not that deep. And for antis, it's pretty sad that people enjoy harassing and hating on Kpop groups for simply just breathing, they really don't have anything else to do in their life, do they?
- Shippers
Who in the right mind would think to ship minors that see each other as close buddies? Every small interaction they would make edits about them saying it's signs of "romantic attraction" when it's just called having a close bond. These so-called "fans" really don't understand the effects it'll bring to other COERS who actually love the group, ships mostly involving Keonho and Seonghyeon. What if one day they stop interaction just because of the ship edits?

How immature do you have to be to not listen to the members of the group you love? During the GREENGREEN release party, the members were clearly so done with the crowd that weren't listening when they told them to move. Other than that, didn't they clearly release a whole post about the etiquette during the party? Seems like absolutely NO ONE abode by it. All they want is a crowd who would actually appreciate their music and hype them up but instead, they get a crowd who're just on their phones recording and not even cheering along. At this point, those attending their shows are just rich people who have too much money to waste.
Can we just be normal for once, for those COERS? If we removed all "fake fans", I definitely feel like a whole majority of the fan base will be wiped clean and they wouldn't be as popular as they are now. CORTIS is getting more popular day by day, but it's majority bad intent. I really feel bad for CORTIS themselves.
EDIT: Apologies for the unclear message on the first point. I only meant older fans and added an unnecessary joke, but I was comparing it to the members which are minors, but still... sorry for that. However, I forgot to mention it's not only older fans, but younger fans tend to do the same too, so they deserve to be called out too.
