Safety kit ? Any EMTs?

I dive predominantly in Mexico and the captains are more or less hungover. I’ve found some good ones but anything can happen out there. Especially an hour away from land then another hour to the hospital who may or may not accept you.

I’d like to build out a safety kit, the premade ones i found online seem insufficient as they’re mostly bandaids for paper cuts.

Anyone with experience bandaging people have any suggestions on what to include? Think.. a prop turns someone’s foot into ground beef, or a shark attack to something simple like a trigger fish bite or jelly fish sting. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Fish finder with kayak

Anybody ever use a fish finder with a kayak and have any luck? I’ve been spending a lot money on boats recently and flaky captains, trying to figure out best way to have a good experience on my own time.

Shore dives are fun, but the good reef is like a 45min swim out and by the time I get there my dives are bad. Would like to get a kayak, I’m seeing fish finders are relatively cheap.
