Stana Katic's Book Club - June 15 to August 17 2026

Stana is holding an impromptu casual book club for the next two months. Starting June 15th and ending the week of August 17th.

Here is the announcement post on Instagram and Facebook:

How it works: (I think)

  • Stana has chosen 5 books (see below)
  • Pick any books you are interested in, and read them
  • Stana will make two posts to instagram and facebook for each book, posting once a week. One post is for the first half of the book, one for the second half of the book.

Books (links to goodreads and storygraph for more info)

This post will be updated with links to her book club posts when she makes them. I'll also add some comments for each book so if people here want to read and talk about them, they can.

For talking about the individual books, please stick to the threads for each book to keep things organised. For everything else, just comment normally.

Just thought I would create a post for people to discuss "Kidnapped in Her Own Home: The Martha Carelli Story" starring Stana Katic which airs Saturday, May 2 at 8/7c p.m on Lifetime in the US, and who knows where outside the US (do let us know if you know where its airing in your country!)
.
Please keep all discussion about this movie to this thread. Posts about the movie will be removed and redirected here. Thank you!
.
Here's the trailer to keep us occupied until it airs:
