Veiled chameleon HELP!!!

okay hi a lot of people are gonna be upset because he bought it without doing research but my brother bought a veiled chameleon from petsmart on sunday and did no reasearch for it i’ve been trying to help and do as much as possible because he hasn’t done any still but i think she’s either around or under the 3 month mark , we put a mister for humidity so that and the temperature are always fine or i adjust if needed but i have questions and concerns..
i know they’re very delicate and so i’ve been trying to take every precautionary that i can but we’ve tried giving her crickets and im not sure she’s eaten any and we take them out after a while since they do bite and i need to figure out a way to get her to eat , i’ve been letting her get adjusted in the tank because i know it can be stressful and a reason why she not eating but any tips on that would be great
and then for basking i saw her earlier trying to move around to like the warmest area and i don’t think that our lamps are providing really and meaningful warmth to her so if you guys could give me lamps that would actually provide that warmth without overheating her or the tank that would be great
she’s also shedding and i saw she needs a lot of leaves to help get the shedding off we already planned on getting more live plants because the petsmart selection of fake plants and real ones weren’t great but he definitely needs more in his enclosure
again i know they need research which is why im trying , he bought out of impulse but were trying
(for whatever reason i can’t put pictures)
