im going into my senior year in around a month and am currently preparing my portfolio. i would consider my art to be pretty good, since ive been taking intense art curriculums since i was young, but my grades are not the best. i have around a b- a few months ago and just failed my apush class at the end of my junior year, so im probably at a c-. however, my sat score is at a 1430(?) with a 780 in math and im hoping to superscore with a better english score this september to pump up to a 1500 at best.
i know that risd looks towards portfolios a lot more than just grades, but are there any students that have had bad grades in their junior year but still got in and are thriving? really just looking for assurance
