Positive resale refund update
Just wanted to share my timeline for anyone still waiting on their FIFA resale refund.
I sold two separate sets of tickets for the Bronze Final on June 16.
June 24: Received the refund for one set back to my credit card.
July 5 & July 9: Received emails asking me to provide my bank details for the remaining refund. Submitted everything and waited.
August 15: This marked 60 days since the tickets were sold. Still nothing in my bank account. But it’s possible because it’s the weekend.
August 18: The remaining refund finally showed up in my bank account this morning.
Once I passed the 60-day mark, I was starting to think I’d have to reach out and and inquire, especially after seeing others here waiting even longer. But it looks like the payment was processed around the 60-day mark and just took a few extra days to actually appear in my account.
Just wanted to share a positive update for anyone who’s still within the 60-day window and wondering if their refund is actually coming. Seems like FIFA really can take the full 60 days.
