"- Denton, mit szeretnél kérni?" "- 3 Medkitet"

-Máris intézzük a creditet!

Synch-on-Luma cable works on a CRT TV, but not on an old LED TV

I repost this here, because it got removed from retrogaming and the reason in the post removal was that it fits here more: I recently replaced my Samsung Hitron CRT TV with a Samsung LE27T51BX/XEH LCD TV. My goal was to use my PS2 through the SCART port with my custom-made, shielded Sync-on-Luma SCART cable, while connecting my original Xbox via a component cable to the YPbPr input.

The problem is that my SCART cable doesn't seem to be compatible with the TV. If I plug it into the AV SCART input, I only get a black-and-white picture. If I plug it into the RGB SCART input, I don't get any picture at all.

My question is: is there any setting in the TV's software that could fix this, or would I be better off having a custom shielded Sync-on-Composite SCART cable made instead?

The SCART cable worked perfectly on my CRT TV without any issues.

Connecting a PSP to a PAL only CRT TV?

I have a SCART - PAL 50hz only CRT TV with a SCART-RCA converter adapter. I heard that some PSP models are capable to output their video signals on a television with a proper cable connected to them, however after several days of research I came to the conclusion that this portable console is only cable to output 60hz NTSC signals only. (Please, feel free to correct me though). Still I have to ask that is it possible for example to get a european PAL region PSP and then connect it with a dedicated video signal cable to a 50hz PAL only CRT TV? (I tried NTSC and it gives a black and white sliding image with some nasty noises inside).
