First year growing vegetables. We've been bringing our strawberries in overnight because when we don't they go missing. A couple have gone during the day, which are clearly taken by squirrels because they end up being abandoned on top of our garden wall.

Woke up this morning and our biggest courgette has been nibbled. I don't think it happened during the day. Also I think we have mice under our deck, as our cat is constantly sniffing around and sometimes brings mice into the house. Does anyone know whether these are mouse, rat, squirrel teeth marks? A bit of googling says squirrels do this for water, and can be deterred by providing an alternative drinking source but rats / mice will require chicken wire solution..
