I smelled the sample stick directly and it’s got that old moldy mildew abandoned house kind of smell we probably all know. Had a feeling there was gonna be a problem here. Lighting it up same thing. I know Patchouli and Dragons Blood separately very well over 20 years. I can’t smell any of that here. I wonder if combining the 2 causes this smell? Or if this is a result of the moisture in the resin getting stale and literally harvesting toxic mildew…

Yes it brings back good memories of my Grandpa but I’m afraid I’ll get sick burning this thing if there’s actual mildew here… Has anybody ever tried this specific blend be it Fred Soll or another brand? Have you ever experienced similar problems with anything else? Thanks…
