How hard is it to smith dice?

So i play D&D and was looking around at expensive dice and eventually found a set of sliver dice. The thing is they cost $4000 for $400 dollars worth of silver. I'm curious if the labor and equipment required to make balanced dice is that expensive and any blacksmith would charge close to that or if i look around locally for a good blacksmith that could make me somthing for a lot less as a christmas gift. Becasue i see some metal dice for 50 bucks online and can't see why it would cost so much for labor unless its just that shop.

The red zones are where meteors impacted Baldurs gate the reason you ask? The guard captain keeping a shield up over the city during the shower was on our hit list and we knew he be on the roof Wyrms rock that night. This happened before they got the shield back up. I honestly love the stuff this dm does it will really shift the setting.

Honestly no idea if our bosses, trans dimensional warlords, knew this would happened they seemed surprised when we told them we were planning to kill them during a meteor shower. I really think it will speed up the process of taking over the city aswell given it will be chaos and a lot of questions for us to capitalize on.
