Do you print then paint or AMS?

Just wondering what peeps do more.

Do you print, prime and then paint using one colour filament and therefore less wasted. Plus much less time.

Do you use AMS and use lots more filament in your prints, thus saving the need to paint? But print over several hours more?

I have been printing in a single colour them priming ready to paint. I tried a AMS 4 colour print tonight I'm 2 hours into a 9 1/2 hour print and I think that my poop shoot has the runs! So much waste.

Anyway, so what is your preferred way to print for a multi colour finish?

Filament breaking

Hi guys

I was just about to load some Sunlu filament and noticed that the filament had broken and was like a dry spaghetti. I have only used this once to print a duck for the printer poop. It has been kept in a warm room in a resealable spool bag that was airtight. Other filament kept in same way are fine.

Is this spool scrap or can I do anything with it apart from melting it into molds?
