What to wear at interview

Got an interview at Brakes. Im an older gentleman and of a generation where you were told always wear a suit to interview. I think times have changed, what should I wear bearing in mind the interview letter says to bring safety boots and will include a driving assessment? Smart combat trousers and polo shirt suffice?

1st hgv job

Hi,

So hoping to pass my final test soon. Looking for advice as to how to secure a steady job if I can that I can fit around my kids. Live in Orpington, have 2 kids in Wales I go back to see alternate weekends.

Have experience of 7.5t bit no other hgv experience. I drive 22000 miles in own car per year and deliver cars for 2 vehicle logistics apps.

Any suggestions ideas for orpington/erith/Tonbridge/dartford areas. Or even other side of the Thames in Essex if fairly close. Don't think I could cope with Night shifts.
