A mini Munch's Make Believe Band animatronic toyset in the similar vein as the Mini Billy Bob Animatronic would have been so amazing!
I thought it was an AMAZING concept and it could work as a mini RAE stage at your own home. Imagine ALL the RAE characters get the same treatment.
However, why it failed?
Honestly, after going through five stages of grief, I just come to accept the fact the animatronic shows are a thing of the past and they are not going to come back.
That being said, I do think fans needs to understand is that it's okay to still love the CEC characters and hate the company that owns them. Corporations like CEC don't care about you. All they want is your money, or least the parent's money through young kids who don't know any better. Yes, there are some people at corporate do care about their fans, but sadly the majority of them don't.
The reason why I say that is because I stopped caring about CEC Corporate awhile ago because I know they are not going to change and don't care about the fanbase. Even if they have Scott Drake, they are the same crappy company that has been running for decades.
However, the CEC characters meant so much to a lot of people and brought them so much joy. So, I do think it's okay to still love the CEC characters because they are more than just the company's mascots. They are childhood entertainers.
The company, on the other hand, are being run by greedy shareholders who wants to squeeze money out of our wallets so they can buy themselves another yacht. They don't care about the human art or the animatronics. They really don't. So, CEC Corporate are not really worth defending.
I mean, hell, I can literally said the same thing about anything. I love Angry Birds and its characters, but my god, the company, Rovio, is an absolute mess.
In short, love the CEC characters from your childhood, but don't support the company and don't give them your money. However, if you wanna support the legacy stores, sure, be my guest, but if it is a regular 2.0, unless you're a parent who wanted to take your kids there, it's not worth it.

I think this is a discussion that is really worth talking about because it annoyed me that some people in the Angry Birds community desperately trying to defend Rovio that is not is even worth defending.
The fans needs to realize that corporations like Rovio don't care about us. They really don't. All they want is our money. You are a number on a balance sheet. Hell, look what happened to Playstation for getting rid of physical media in the next couple of years. Sure, Rovio may throw us a bone on special occasions, but we are not a priority to them as much as their bottom line.
However, I do understand fans still love Angry Birds franchise and wanted to keep it alive, and that's fine. If you wanna keep the love of AB alive, do it! But, don't support the company for doing everything they can to screw you over.
Let's just say if I like, the McDonaldland characters as an example, I like the McDonaldland characters because they are charming and they have great lore, but my god, the McDonalds company is just awful and I don't want to support them.
If I can do that with McDonalds, you guys can keep that same energy with Angry Birds.

We all know that Rovio handling the Angry Birds franchise for the past decade wasn't the best. I think they need better leadership.
I don't want the company to go bankrupt because I don't want these people losing their jobs, but they need the right people who can steer Rovio and Angry Birds in a much better. Right now with Rovio under Sega is not working.
