I have made quite a Star Trek reading list which I'm reading through chronologically alongside all of the TV and movies. However, after seeing a post on here earlier about Scotty in Generations and Relics and learning of the book Engines of Destiny, I wondered what other books people think are great gap fillers / bridge characters etc.
