Do any of you still go to more casual meetups?
Used to be my favorite thing in tech. Open stage to talk about your little project, some pizza, and a little talking or networking.
Not the big structured networking focused events, more just meetups/demo nights.
Seems most have gone away by now but I honestly don’t even have the desire to go anymore. Passion projects are just not exciting when it’s made by an AI prompt. Like porting games to dumb stuff was always a hit but now it’s just like…cool you told Claude to do it and it did it.
