I actually am quite terrified of snakes. I was not thrilled when one started showing up in my new garden bed. However, it was pretty small and I became fascinated as it seemed to become more and more comfortable around me. I am now a little more comfortable around it. It is now "Edgar". As of two days ago, another one arrived, "Pancetta", and made itself at home. Both chill all day in the garden and around the foundation of my house, right out in the open. I have become kind of fond of them! Thought I'd share some cute pics of Edgar poking his head out of his hiding spot this morning, Edgar strutting around, and Edgar and Pancetta thermoregulating or whatever on the stone garden border this afternoon 🐍 🐍
