Mask of Varaha

In Hinduism, Varaha is one of the 10 incarnates of lord Vishnu. I have used a bike helmet and cling wrap as the mold. I made sure to only use strips of newspaper, kids school worksheets, amazon packing paper. For glue, I made a thick mache by boiling flour and water.
I've used acrylic paint for colors with acrylic gloss layer on top. I have used rhinestone jewel stickers on the crown as embellishments.

It's my first ever "proper" paper mache project. It took me 3-4 weeks to make it. It evolved in stages mostly to demonstrate the process to my kids.
