Exactly what the title said. I have just finished the prisoners throne and I cannot get over how oak gets treated . I need a fanfic where he actually starts resenting suren or starts outright hating her. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated 😊.

Hello . I have just finished the duology and I have a few questions. I am not a native English speaker so apologies in advance for that.
Why does Oak endure imprisonment humiliation and torture and still remains completely infatuated with wren?
Why does he still feel that he is the one in the wrong after going through so much humiliation and torture which are a direct result of her actions?
Why does Suren make oak crawl and has him hit by the guards when he comes to her instead of trying to flee?
Why does Suren put Oak in prison if she knew that she would have to face all the armies of elfhame? Does she have a strategic reason?
Why does oak really love wren in spite of all that she makes him go through? It's not like she is the only one who understands him as she is constantly expecting him to be hateful and manipulative when he is in love with her.
Why is he conflicted between his loyalty for his own family and for suren when he doesn't even know if she loves him and she has constantly humiliated him
How does their relationship turn out in the future and is there real acknowledgement and closure or it continues to be somewhat reminiscent of (what I think is) an abuser victim dynamic?
Am I wrong to read their dynamic as one of an abuser and a victim? (At least until they go to elfhame)
Is there some sort of apology or closure that I missed in the books?
