Can someone explain why these jumps happened? Specifically, I care the most about Joon, Bad Apple (2021), a Dream More Scarlet Than Red, and Adoration of Magic. I think I already have pretty good explanations for most of the other jumps. Here's what I know so far.

Joon: It's possible that her fans were just jealous of Shion's high ranking immediately after Antinomy of Common Flowers released in 2018. Many of the voter comments also mentioned some kind of energy drink, and I don't know why.

Bad Apple: For some reason, the music theme's 2021 jump doesn't correspond with a jump in Google Trends or in views on Youtube (on kasidid2's upload). Someone told me this was because of a Danmaku Kagura ad, but I saw very few mentions of Danmaku Kagura in the voter comments.

A Dream More Scarlet Than Red: Most of EoSD's non-boss themes (ie. title theme, stage themes, and ending themes) went up, so it's possible that there were just a bunch of new EoSD fans that year.

Adoration of Magic: Most of the comments on this one were in English. One of them mentioned Karl Zuniga's arrangement, but that was called a Strawberry Crisis arrangement and didn't even mention Adoration of Magic in the description. The weirdest thing is that Strawberry Crisis dropped that year.

And these are the "pretty good explanations" I have for the other jumps. Are any of these inaccurate or not comprehensive?

Kasen: Wild and Horned Hermit's first few chapters were published in a magazine before the 2011 poll. However, volume 1 was released a few months later, so the volume readers didn't know about Kasen until then.

I considered both points and ranks when I was making this chart. If I just looked at points, the chart would just be all the times Koishi jumped from first place to firster place. If I just looked at ranks, the chart would be a bunch of obscure PC-98 music or side game music that got a few hundred votes and jumped from 600th place to 300th place. Additionally, I handled ties by averaging all the ranks that they tied for. So if 2 things tied for first and second place, I assumed they got 1.5th place. If 3 things tied for first, second, and third place, I assumed they got second place. That's why there's a few .5's on the chart.

The smoking Mansion and Reimu bonking Remilia were from Sr Pelo's EoSD parody.

Yuuma chomping a strange green object was from Touhou 19 Reimu's Story in a Nutshell.

Yumemi spaghetti was from Touhou Physics.
