Had to leave a job amidst a mental health crisis

Long story made short: I’ve been in the field for 16 years and have never gone any amount of time without working . I was hospitalized due to mental health issues twice and had to leave my job because there was no FMLA for me because of not being employed at that agency for a year (8 months). I’m currently home and admitted to an intensive outpatient program to work on my issues over the next 6 weeks.

At this point, I know I need to move forward and work on myself, but I’m concerned that the gap in my employment will hinder me from getting employed again.

Would you digest an episodic book/show about a physical therapist?

Hello,

I’ve got one episode/chapter written of a serial about a physical therapist. It’s more about the internal headspace of the clinician swimming in people’s interpersonal drama set against the back drop of the physical therapy clinical setting. The first installment is in an outpatient clinic, and it draws heavily from my personal experience (but it’s super punched up). I’m thinking of taking each installment and putting them in different settings: hospital, SNF, HH, Hospice, school, random thanksgiving dinner where relatives ask you to fix their back pain. My thought is that we have TONS of medical drama about Drs nurses patients but very little where PT is the viewpoint.

I’d love to know what y’all think.
