Looking for a gift for 25th Wedding Anniversary - that he would actually like
Hubby and I will be having our 25th Anniversary at this time next year. I have always bought him gifts based on the Traditional Anniversary Gift list over the years.
Example: 1st year: paper, 2nd year: cotton, 3rd year: leather, etc
The 25th Anniversary is Silver!
However, when you google for ideas, every page suggests watches or other jewelry. Maybe pens or picture frames. All that would go to waste on hubby. He doesn't wear a watch or any jewelry, he doesn't like them, so me buying him a nice watch would just sit in the sock drawer.
I would prefer to spend my money on something that fits his (our) personality, and wouldn't go to waste. Even the fancy picture frame isn't really our thing.
We both work in tech, we both have a love of sci-fi. we like to garden a lot (vegetables). We really got into Baseball again the last 5 years, and follow the Toronto Blue Jays.
I am not even sure a silver figurine of a character from a show we love would really work. He's not a collector of items like that, preferring not to clutter the house.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
