A&P Job Hunt
Hey guys I’ve had my A&P for about 1.5 years now and have applied to multiple major airlines multiple times when available and even some smaller aircraft location and still have not had any luck at all. I’m in the Philadelphia area and have plenty of mechanical experience, I’ve worked on cars all my life and was a diesel mechanic for years as well but no real aviation experience besides what I learned in school. I’m coming close to 2 years and I know at that point I would then have to work under someone for 6 months when I finally do get hired. That being said I would really love to avoid that and see if anyone here has some suggestions or was in a similar situation and have any advice or maybe some recommended places to try and work for. Any information would be gladly appreciated. Thanks!
