MCR is my favorite band of all time. I still remember buying the Bullets CD from FYE and eventually owning MCR posters, shirts, hoodies, pens, pencils, notebooks, sketchbooks, folders, binders, and backpacks. I even went to the mall and made a custom-engraved dog tag with the word "MCRmy"
So, obviously I was going hard from the second The End. started. At the very end of The Sharpest Lives, someone who appeared to work for MCR's marketing/social media team (had a lanyard/pass, the whole aesthetic) saw how energetic/passionate I was and handed me a vinyl for a photo. I've seen Instagram Reels of tours where it's a compilation of fans holding the same specific object. So, I posed for the photo and tried to hand the vinyl back, not thinking too much about it. Then she said, "no, it's for you. You get to keep it" and pointed directly at the signatures
This was my 4th show of the tour (I went to Seattle [tour debut], MetLife/Jersey, and Philly on the 1st Leg) and had no idea this was something they were doing. It was one of the rare moments in my life I was completely speechless, in awe, and frozen. This is now my 2nd most prized possession!! (only after my grandpa's ashes in a small urn)
