Tulip, MA, USA, watering ~2x per week plus rain. It’s west facing under an oak tree just starting to grow leaves now, so gets a good 10 hours of sunlight a day coming from the west. Planted last October in blend of compost and loamy soil. All surrounding tulips and plants are maturing normally, could it be a mutation?

Hi! So I was sort of premed (requirements basically was built into my neuro major) before my grades kinda tanked with the pandemic my senior year (graduated in 2021 cgpa3.34, sgpa 2.93) I did TFA, then worked in clinical research for about 3.5 years now, going through some family and health stuff, and planning to apply this cycle.

Did well on my MCAT (517) and have taken 33 credits at a local community college over the last year (27 of which BCPM, 6 were English) getting a 3.96cGPA and 3.96sgpa bringing up my total c gpa to 3.47 and sgpa to 3.24.

Anyways in undergrad, I got a C- in orgo 2. While I got an A in biochem (and a LoR from the prof) I’m think about retaking orgo 2 at my local CC this summer (after submitting primaries, and during secondary season) so I am not restricted from applying to schools with 2 orgo requirements.

So uh what are your thoughts? Will it be worth the trouble or will it not really matter?

Hi, I’m applying this cycle (White F, 27) I have a 517 (127/130/131/129) on the MCAT in January and graduated undergrad 5 years ago (during pandemic) with a 3.34cGPA, 2.93 sGPA across 2 degrees (BS/BA)
I did Teach for America for a year in TX and while I excelled for my students in the classroom, I failed some of the mandatory online grad-level teaching courses (teaching grad GPA=1.54 over 19 courses) due to a combo of COVID and personal circumstances.
I moved back to my home state to stabilize my life a bit after that and have been very successful in the clinical/academic research world since, having a second author pub, 4+poster presentations, a first author manuscript in preparation, and more.
Clinical research has really driven me back to the med school path after COVID and life derailed me for a few years.
I’ve taken 33 credits (of mostly high level science, some English to fill requirements) over the last 3 semesters at a local community college between working full time/overtime and have gotten a 3.96 cGPA/sGPA bringing my overall undergrad cGPA to 3.47 and sGPA to 3.23.

I’m hoping to apply DO and MD. The state I grew up in doesn’t have an instate public med school, although the state I live in (and have lived in for 2 years) does and the state where my parents live in does as well.
I come from a very large family grown by adoption (although I wasn’t adopted myself) and working class parents. I’ve had to have at least one, if not 2, jobs throughout adulthood and schooling. I definitely have had my hiccups throughout my life, but I’ve also had my hurdles. My recent success with my courses, the MCAT, and my recent career achievements are much more reflective of my capabilities than are my COVID-era failures.
Added my list so far, planning on applying early in cycle, hoping to stay closer to east coast. I have ties through my research to some of the seemingly random public schools thrown in there.

Please help me refine my school list and also chance me if u want.
