Just read Thursday's newsletter about the Platy presale. Time flies huh?

I have always wanted either an orange appaloosa or a mermaid platypus. Though periwinkle did not interest me initially, a string of late nights at work made my mind up for me. After a few weeks of checking instagram and an anxious week of looking at the Japan domestic store, I managed to snag one in size 55, on the day of international release from Bluelug.

Periwinkle is........exquisite. Under the sun, it has a pleasing muddy and sparkly look.

Originally a 1x11, I turned it into a 2x9 and installed a silver 3 crankset and the OM-1 this week. The shakedown ride went really well and I love this bike so much. Here are some pictures from the ride and the work done.

The Clydesdale fork seemed a bad idea at the time but it's honestly the best bike related purchase that I have ever made.....so far.
