Hi everyone,

I’m thinking about taking my family camping for the first time. I’ve never really camped before, and this would be with my parents and my kids, so it could be a pretty big group for a newbie like me!

I’m still just in the planning stages, but I’m already realizing there’s a lot to think about – choosing the right campsite, making sure everyone is comfortable, managing meals, keeping the kids entertained, and making sure my parents aren’t too tired or uncomfortable.

For those of you with family camping experience, do you have any advice for a beginner? Things you wish you knew before taking a family out, or must-have gear for a mixed-age group? Any tips for keeping everyone happy and safe would be amazing.
