RICH Factory GMT Pepsi datewheel issues + VSF raid — Clean Plus (JH3285) worth it?

Hey RepTime,
I recently ordered a Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi (RICH Factory) from Steve at TheOneWatches.
The first QC had a terrible, high-sitting datewheel, so I RL'd it. Steve sourced a second piece, but it arrived with the exact same high datewheel alignment issue.
I asked to switch to VSF (VF V3 DD3285), but Steve informed me that VF was recently raided and currently unavailable. Instead, he offered the Clean Plus Pepsi with the Free Sprung JH3285 movement for $738, stating it is in stock with QC ready in 3 days.
Has anyone taken GL on the recent Clean Plus Pepsi with the JH3285 movement? Is it worth switching to, or should I hold out for another option?
Would love to hear your thoughts before giving Steve the go-ahead

How does gold plating on reps actually hold up in 2026? Debating between Two-Tone Bluesy vs Pepsi

Hey guys,
I'm currently stuck trying to make a decision on my next watch and could use some real-world input from people who have owned gold/two-tone reps.
I’m split between two iconic models:

  1. Submariner Two-Tone "Bluesy" (116613LB / 126613LB)
  2. GMT-Master II "Pepsi" (126710BLRO)
    My main concern with the Bluesy is the gold plating. For those who own two-tone or full-gold reps (specifically weighted / tungsten versions from factories like VSF, WF, or RICH):

Noob question: Why does everyone compare VSF vs RICH, but I barely see CF mentioned lately?

Hey guys,
I'm relatively new to the rep space and still learning the ropes. I've been doing a lot of reading on the sub lately, looking into Submariners and GMTs.
Something I noticed in a lot of recent comparison posts and comments is that almost everyone is comparing VSF vs RICH (RICHF), talking about Rich’s dial print, free-sprung movements, or VSF’s crystals and movements.
Where does Clean Factory (CF) fit into all of this right now? A few months ago I kept reading that Clean was the absolute top tier (especially for GMTs/Pepsi and Daytonas), but in recent discussions, it feels like it's strictly a VSF vs RICH battle.
Did Clean drop in quality, are people just hyped about RICH's new batches, or am I missing something here? Would love to hear your thoughts on where CF stands compared to VSF and RICH today!
