story for those who are bored enough to read yappening: I had recently let Patty go to let another villager move in. When I originally reset my island, I went in with the goal of "try and get every villager photo", and I already obtained Patty's photo. I thought it was lucky that she was the random pick to be shuffled out.

When I visited Patty's house, seeing her sweeping with all her stuff packed made me extremely sad lmao I didn't expect to have such a strong reaction, but I thought I'd cry it out for a day and then I'm done. But no, days later hearing 500 Miles by Peter, Paul, and Mary made me think of her again. With a bit of encouragement from my partner, I went and drew this to let it out.

I remembered Patty was the first villager I invited to live on the island (mystery island tour), and going through my old screenshots I found her in a bunch so yknow, ya boy's taking it kinda badly haha

Suffice to say, that's probably the last time I let anyone move out regardless if I've gotten their photo q.q Right now I'm just choosing to believe she's living her best life out there x)

TLDR : I thought I'd be okay rotating villagers out to get photos, turns out, i am not
But I'll be okay eventually

Recreated my island's current layout as best as I can

I really don't want to terraform, the last time I did that (years ago by now) made me not enjoy the game so I'm trying to work with what I have (I reset recently). I originally intended to play this like "Im not gonna move buildings once I set them down" but I have made silly decisions I think x)

So I guess I'm trying to ask for advice on how to design something more "modern" while working with the current landscape I have. City but with a bit of rural things to it I think would be really nice :D
I tried looking for inspo but many photos I see are terraformed islands, and I tend to stick to what I see which obviously wouldn't be what I need :(

Hi, is there anyone who'd like to open their island so I can get critters out of season for me? I will most likely be there for a couple hours for as long as my switch has battery, so I'd ideally need someone who doesn't mind AFKing ;w; I will also probably go in and out to deal with my inventory too, but I'll try and limit that. This will also be most likely not a one time thing, but I'll always ask first if you're down ahhh

Maybe we can text chat on discord for ease of comms? and also so I could send you a doodle of your character when Im able to draw again within the week :D
