Where should I go for the 4th of July?

I would like to make a trip to celebrate the 4th of July this year with my friend. But I’m not sure where the best place to go would be. Does anyone have any recommendations?
The only catch is we are not quite 21 yet so bars are out of the question.

I hate love b side story’s. What should I watch?

I don’t know if I’m using the right terminology as Im not a big movie goer, so I’ll briefly explain what I mean. I feel like 90% of the movies I watch have a love story jammed in them for no reason. There will be a perfectly good plot with interesting characters and interesting things happening and they will throw in a love story for absolutely no reason. For certain people this might be great and why they do this. But personally, I don’t find it Interesting at all, It wrecks a lot of movies.
Some of my favourite movies I remember watching have been things like the Green Mile, Reservoir dogs, The Trailer Park Boys movies, the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Trench 11, Furry, Brining out the dead.
I feel like the last two were the only ones that have any sort of romantic themes, but they are untraditional and for a reason other than “look at these hot actors”
I understand some movies are based around this and some movies require it. But I’m talking about the ones that are not and I feel like that is most movies.
My best example of what I mean is probably the Lego movie. I remember watching that when it first came out as a kid and thinking why the hell is there romantic tension between two Lego characters😭
I understand I’m clearly the odd one out here because if I wasn’t, they wouldn’t make movies like this. So I’m curious if anybody else feels this way and if you do, what movies would you recommend?
Thank you!!
