American Scammers Posing as Chinese Peptide Factories Walked Off With $150K
I never thought I'd see the day an American would catfish as Chinese factory workers but I think there will be a few millionaires because of it.
I've been reading this group buy meltdown and I'm still stuck on one part. Apparently American scammers are just casually pretending to be Chinese factories making peptides and walking away with hundreds of thousands of dollars and it keeps working.
This particular group buy sent roughly $150k to a vendor that nobody could independently verify. Zero product. Zero refunds. Radio silence.
Truthfully I don't know how anybody falls for scams like these, but there is no shortage of fools. These guys are organized and potentially scamming millions. They operate clusters of vendors, a network of scammers amplifying trust and creating echo chambers leading the sheep to slaughter.
It keeps happening and happening and it's insane. The entire peptide scam industry should be studied.
