Black dot on hotel pillow case - bed bug poop?
Hello, I would really appreciate some help regarding my current hotel stay. I found this black dot (pic 1) on a pillowcase on my bed in my room. I don't remember if I slept on this particular pillow or if it had the mark before I entered the room or after. I've only been in this hotel for one night.
I did some Googling and I read that it could be bed bugs. I inspected my belongings, the bed, sheets, frame, and couch and haven't seen any actual bugs or anything to tip me off to actual bed bugs. When I moved the bed around, I found two sets of black splatterings (pic 2 and 3) on the bed skirt. I figure they're too big to be bed bugs but they look very sketchy.
I tried to smear the droppings but there was no change in color or other properties at all (pic 4). It stayed proper black.

I could just be making it up but I'm likely going to take all the proper protocols anyway (stripping down before entering my home and drying my clothes on high heat). I know there are knowledgeable people out there that could help confirm or deny.
