Hi everyone,

My girlfriend and I will be staying in Mykonos from June 17–27, and we're planning to rent a car for most (or all) of our trip.

Before booking, I'd love to hear from people who have recently rented a car on the island:

• Is renting a car in Mykonos worth it, or would you recommend relying on buses/taxis instead?
• Has anyone used mykonosrentacar.com or www.economycarrentals.com? Are they legitimate and reliable?
• Were there any hidden fees, insurance issues, or things to watch out for?
• Since we arrive around 8 PM and leave on a flight at 6 AM, I'm particularly interested in companies that offer flexible pickup and drop-off outside normal office hours.

Any recommendations for trustworthy and not overpriced rental companies would be greatly appreciated.

And while we're at it, if you have any must-visit beaches, restaurants, beach clubs, day trips, or other Mykonos highlights, I'd love to hear those as well.

We plan to rent a car. Is that a good idea? Can anyone tell me if https://www.mykonosrentacar.com/ and/or https://www.economycarrentals.com/ are legit for car rental in Mykonos? We arrive around 8PM and leave at 6 AM so need to be a bit flexible with the usual opening times.

As said above if you have any recommendations for day trips, restaurants, beaches, or whatever could be of interest I would love to hear it.
