We're back with an event inspired by the sound of cicadas and the smell of a sweet evening breeze.
Keep an eye out for new maps dropping that lead to a Summer Matsuri. Everyone across the land is gathering to take a little break, enjoy some snacks, and relax now that summer's here.
Even the most ferocious monsters are feeling the heat - or maybe they guzzled too much shaved ice or got caught in one too many thunderstorms. Whatever's got into them, they're not quite themselves, and they've got an increased chance to drop elemental weapons, plus a few other surprises...
This release also updates the store with some new items for loyal players.
See you at the festival, frog friends!

We're back with some bug fixes and new items:
This release adds 3 new weapons, a wide range of armor and some new blueprints - check the stickied comment for a full list of everything that's new.
End-of-mission rewards disappearing
Some players were seeing their mission rewards (coins, gear, maps) appear briefly and then vanish. We've added some improvements intended to prevent this: If you lost rewards due to this bug, please let us know over in the bug thread and we'll get replacements over to you.
Rage Wave not triggering hit-count abilities
Abilities that activate on hit count (like Magic Knife on Hit 2 or Heal on Hit 3) could be skipped when Rage Wave fired after a normal attack. Hit counts incremented by Rage Waves should now correctly trigger these on-hit abilities.
Silence On Rage not activating on some rage abilities
Silence On Rage wasn't reliably activating when Blade Storm and Fiery Belly were equipped. These rage abilities should now correctly trigger on-Rage Silence effects.
Ability description percentages rounding incorrectly
Some ability descriptions were displaying rounded percentages (e.g. showing 3% instead of 2.5%). All percentage displays should now show accurate values.
Please note: this change is not a rebalance. No item behavior has been changed. This fix simply ensures that existing item behavior is more accurately displayed.
Upgrade screen improvements
Welcome to today's Daily Discussion post.

We're experiencing an issue that's preventing us from pinning the main bug thread, so to make sure you can find it here's a link!
Please add any bug reports to our main bug megathread!
The thread is also available on the side bar or via a flair link.
We're back with a quick stability update to resolve some bugs and correct some game behavior.
0HP on mission resume issue
This update should fix the issue that was causing some players to resume missions at 0HP.
Skill Bargain health reduction bug
Some players were hitting an issue where accepting a Skill Bargain which reduced HP prevented the game from proceeding. This should now be fixed.
If you lost lives due to these bug, please message us in the main bug thread and we'll get some gems over to you so you can restore.
Quest progress and skipped claim issues
Quest progress should no longer be able to show as negative, and it should no longer be possible for quest tiers to be skipped.
Note: we believe that players who were affected by this bug did in most cases receive their correct quest rewards, but if you missed out, let us know in the bug thread and we'll get replacements over to you.
ATK display issues
We had an issue were the ATK total displayed on the Stat Screen was being miscalculated if both equipment and mission buffs/debuffs were being applied. This should be resolved, and you should see the correct ATK value throughout the game.
This release should also prevent an occasional bug where ATK values were showing far far far too many decimals.
Plated Belt stat fix
Lvl 3 now has the correct DEF stat.
Thanks for all the reports which helped us track these issues down!
Investigate Reward scaling
Investigate rewards now scale with player level, not mission level, and are capped at mission level, meaning you should always receive the reward appropriate for your current mission and level.
Better ability descriptions + battlelog attribution
Multiple ability descriptions now display specific figures (eg. heal amounts and % chances, poison damage, rage gained, and more) so you can see exactly what each instance of an ability does. Thanks to u/Virtual2439 for flagging these!
We've tidied up lightning naming for consistency (including renaming "Bolt On Rage" to "Lightning On Rage", consistent with other Lightning abilities).
We've fixed ability descriptions which wrongly indicated an unlockable ability when the ability was unlocked on all tiers of an item (Hero's Long Sword, Salvation Scimitar).
Multiple abilities, including Strike Twice Every Other, Imperfect Knife Doubler and Triple Strike have improved battlelog attribution.
This update is mini in name, but mighty in scale! We're back with a whole new mode, plus a top-requested quality-of-life improvement.
We're adding a new quick-play mode to the feed: the Daily Mini - a short, self-contained battle you can jump straight into. You can check out the first one here, or use the post flair to find them all.
Missions now save your progress mid-run, the same way dungeons do.
If you close the window/app or get interrupted partway through a mission, when you replay you'll pick back up at your last encounter instead of starting over and losing an additional heart.
Please note - when resuming a mission the encounter count (at the top of the mission screen, showing your mission progress as e.g. 3/11) will *not* update until you press the Advance/Battle button and start the next encounter. If you resume a mission and see 1/XX as your progress count - never fear! It will update once you resume.
Clearer ability wording. We've tidied up how status-effect abilities are described to help make it clearer when they can be avoided.
Abilities that are cast as spells which can't be blocked by a shield or avoided by dodge now consistently use the word "cast" in their names and descriptions, while "on attack" abilities (which can be shielded/dodged) don't.
Several abilities (Cast Hypnotize on hit count, Cast Vulnerable every turn count, and Cast Weak every turn count) now show their actual % chance in their descriptions.
Shield On Low description corrected. It now makes clear the shield charges the first time your HP drops below the threshold per battle, not every time. This is not a behavior change - just a description edit to communicate the existing behavior more clearly.
Sell price corrections. This release Increases incorrect sell values on a number of items (Recovery Vest EX , Ashborn Blade Lvls 2–4, Sword of Serpents Lvls 2–4 + Ultimate, Thornbane Lvls 2–4 + Ultimate).

We're back with a round of fixes, and some new gear:
☠️ Poison Effects Fixes
Based on player feedback and bug reports (thanks for sending!) we've tightened up how poison application and damage interact with other mechanics:
Shields and dodge now block Poison Demon poison attacks. Poison Demon's attacks no longer poison you on a dodged or shielded hit: if you avoid the hit, you should avoid the poison.
Magic Knife poison now respects shields. Previously, poison delivered by Magic Knife would be applied even through an active shield. Now a shield that blocks the knife also blocks the poison.
Hypnotize no longer prevents poison damage. A hypnotized character was not receiving poison damage-over-time on their turn. Poison damage is now received when hypnotized, for both players and enemies.
⚔️ Ability Triggers Fixed
On-hit-count abilities now keep up with multi-hit attacks. Effects that fire on a specific hit (Heal on Hit, Gain Shield on Hit, Lightning on Hit etc) were getting skipped when a multi-hit attack like Blade Storm blew past their target number in one go. These should now trigger correctly.
On-Rage abilities work alongside Fiery Belly. Equipping Fiery Belly was silently stopping other on-rage abilities (Gain Shield on Rage, Heal on Rage, Bolt on Rage, Magic Knife on Rage etc) from firing when your rage meter filled. These should now trigger as expected.
💍 New Gear!
See pinned comment for full list.
We're back with a quick update - with one big upgrade and one important improvement:
We've overhauled the daily login reward system with more generous rewards across the board. The new system is streak-based — log in every day to keep your streak alive.
The new rewards include resources, free maps, gems and a bonus coin reward that scales with your level, up to 20,000 coins.
To make sure you never miss a claim, you can sign up for notifications in the Settings menu and we'll let you know when your rewards are ready. (Notifications will also let you know when your hearts have recharged, and when you have a creator reward ready for claim.)
Note: to make sure you receive your rewards, they are added to your account as soon as you see the Login Reward popup.
This update includes new safeguards aimed at reducing cases where hearts are incorrectly deducted. As part of this, you may occasionally see a warning at the end of a mission letting you know your win hasn't been saved yet, with the option to retry. Successfully retrying should ensure a life is not incorrectly lost.
These new safeguards specifically target issues with lost lives (not items). If you're missing coins, gems or items, let us know in the bug thread and we'll get them restored. We'll keep looking at ways to improve reliability in all these systems going forward.
We've been so impressed with the Cloak designs that you've been coming up with that we've added a new user flair and kicked off a contest that runs till Jun 6.
Nominate your favorite cloak designs - including your own - and the top voted designers will be considered to receive the new flair and a free hat of their choice to complete their outfit. Check out the current contenders and submit your favorites in the contest post.
A quick note up front: we know the last few days have been rough. Here's what happened and how we've addressed the issue.
At the end of last week, we were featured in the Reddit side bar. This produced a very high volume of traffic, and the servers had a hard time keeping up, causing disruption to a number of game systems including lives, loot drops, quest credit, level upgrades and more. We're really sorry for any problems you experienced: Thanks for all your reports and for sticking with us while we worked on a resolution.
This release includes fixes we hope will improve performance when traffic is heavy and get these systems working correctly again.
If you're still missing items, lives, or coins, let us know in the main bug thread and we'll get them restored to you.
By popular request, this release adds a Loadout system, now available as part of the Battle Pass. Save up to 5 equipment loadouts and swap between them using the new quick-switch button on the main HUD.
This release expands the Rage system with new abilities that replace the default Rage attack with new combat mechanics:
This is our debut set of alternate Rage abilities, so we're super interested to hear how people use them and how they'd like to see the Rage system evolve in future. We're definitely expecting to make adjustments based on data and feedback, so let us know your thoughts in the comments below or the daily threads.
This release adds nine new weapons across a range of levels which grant the new Rage abilities, plus ten new pieces of late-game gear across other slots. See the stickied comment for the full list.
Rumors of two new unexplored locations have been circulating. Maps that lead to these new environments start dropping at level 141. The Frontier and Explorer's map chests in the store have been updated to include the new locations and offer even better value (more maps for the same cost).
These new locations have some scary new inhabitants. Three new bosses have been sighted, plus a range of new enemies - and we're hearing that the Crossroads encounter now features two new elites.
We've fleshed out and freshened up scenario text - there's now unique content with deeper lore for every environment
That's it for 0.67. We'll continue to monitor performance and work on upcoming bug fixes now that this release is live. Thanks again for your fortitude while things haven't been working right. 💪

We have one big new feature for this update, inspired by player requests for more flexible customization options.
We've added a full cloak design tool to the game, which enables you to:
- design and craft your own cloaks
- share them with the community
- get rewarded with Coins and Gems when other players craft your designs.
The video guide is a good intro to the new feature, but here are the basics for designing a Cloak:
- access the Cloak Creator via the Inn, or from the Cosmetics tab in your inventory
- pick a shape for your scarf and paint your design
- add VFX if you like
- simple cloaks have uncommon rarity and lower creation costs; fancy scarves have higher rarity and creation costs
- save as a draft, or spend resources to craft your design
- once you craft it, the wearable item will be added to your Cosmetics tab.
- if you choose to share it with the community, a post will be created from which other players can claim a blueprint for your design.
If you'd like to browse other people's designs, look out for the new 'Cloak' post flair, which will show you all the designs created so far. Click 'Claim Cloak' on a Cloak post to receive a blueprint for that design.
If you share your design, you can keep track of how many other players have crafted it via the Creator Rewards inbox, and claim related rewards. Lookout for the new 'envelope' icon on the Nav Bar: This screen now has two tabs, one for your Mission rewards and one for your Cloak rewards.
Remember to opt in to notifications if you'd like to get notified when you're able to claim a creator reward.
✋ One note - please keep your Cloak designs and names frog-friendly. Moderators will remove any Cloaks that don't meet our community standards. If you see something that you don't think should be here, report it or message a mod, and we'll take a look.
This release also squeezes in fixes for some Battlelog and player stat display bugs:
- Fixed some Battlelog display bugs where ability triggers and damage hits were being attributed to the wrong character.
- Fixed a cosmetic issue where enemy stat boosts were accumulating on the player stats screen. Thanks for the reports which helped us track these issues down.
We hope you have fun with the new creation tool - we're excited to see what you make.
🐸 Frogs together fabulous!🧣
