Sub-genre Shift

I've written two books of a cozy, small town romance series under a pseudonym (I'm a teacher so writing a romance as myself could be problematic for my main career). It's a typical series where there are five family members who successively fall in love. I have plans for the other three books.

However...I love shifter and omegaverse romance and got an idea for a shifter (non-RH, non-omegaverse) book. I want to write that next, then come back to the cozy series.

I know prevailing wisdom says new genre new pseudonym, but do you think that's necessary for sub genres? I haven't published anything previously, so I'll be starting my website, socials, etc from scratch once my books are ready to publish. If I do a second pseudonym, I'll have to do two sets and keep track of both on top of my teaching job.

What do you think would be best?

Looking for a Beauty & the Beast remake I read

I read this book a while ago, but can't remember the name. Here's what I do remember:

FMC was possibly running from abuse or a bad relationship. She gets a job at this mansion that has an enormous library. She's supposed to help organize the library. She's warned to never go outside at night because there's dangerous animals. She did the work well, but the mansion and library are weird, it seems like the books have a "right place" where they belong and food keeps appearing but she doesn't ever see any servants.

There's also a mysterious man she catches glimpses of. He wears a mask, maybe? Or has some sort of deformity. Over time, he starts to trust her and spends time in the library but not near her. Eventually, fmc keeps hearing noises and against the rules goes outside and sees the beast. She eventually connects that the man is the beast and runs away to a nearby biker bar. She ends up in a dangerous situation that the man saves her from. Don't remember much after that, but it does end up with an HEA.
